NTUC FairPrice Foundation is a registered charity set up by NTUC FairPrice. It was launched in March 2008, with a pledge of $50 million over 10 years from NTUC FairPrice, and a mission to provide “A Better Life for the Community”.

 

Corporate philanthropy is very much a part of NTUC FairPrice's DNA. Over the years, it has played a key role in moderating the cost of living for the average Singaporean. With the launch of the Foundation, FairPrice is now one step closer to its vision to be a world-class retailer with a heart.

 

With the Foundation in place, FairPrice is now better organised for corporate giving and is in a better position to support and contribute to causes that are aligned to their social mission in a systematic and sustained manner. The foundation also serves as an institutional tribute to FairPrice's commitment to serve, care and share with the community at large.

Into its sixth year of collaboration, Cheers, FairPrice Foundation and Yeo Hiap Seng announced a joint donation of $20,000 to TOUCH Community Services. The donation will support TOUCH’s work with children from disadvantaged backgrounds to help them realise their potential. To commemorate the initiative, 15 children who are beneficiaries of TOUCH were invited to a shopping trip at Cheers@Downtown East. More

FairPrice Foundation has donated 100 hampers to the beneficiaries supported by Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA). Each hamper, contains daily necessities such as rice, oil and noodles to help alleviate the cost of living for low-income families. Into its eleventh instalment, FairPrice launched its revamped Walk for Rice+ @ South East at Wisma Geylang Serai. In this edition, FairPrice continues to do good with a target to raise 500,000 bowls of white and brown rice, in addition to 37,500 bowls of oatmeal to encourage healthy eating among the low-income. The donation will benefit over 7,000 underprivileged families and individuals residing in the South East district. More
